Responsible for performing tests on metallic products, also assisting in the development and continuous improvement of such products. For such purpose, it counts on: optical emission spectrometer (analysis of metal chemical composition); traction/ compression machine for mechanical strength tests; waterIP machine (definition of the protection rating against liquid penetration); industrial radioscopy machine (XR – identification of product internal defects with non-destructive test), among other equipment.
Metrology and Instrumentation Laboratory
Laboratory dedicated to the dimensional control of products and also to the management of metrological equipment used in the factory. To perform such controls, it is structured with such equipment as 2 three-dimensional CNC, optical measuring machine, profilometer,roughness meter and microscope.
To meet the technicalrequirements of the aluminum-alloy injected products, the laboratory is structured with equipment for coordinate measurement (three-dimensional), aluminum alloy analysis, measurement of profiles, roughness, porosity, infrared radiation, among others.
Aria Line Assembly
The robot takes the plate that has just been injected and, through feeders, the other pieces that are part of the product are guided so that the robot can position them on templates for subsequent assembly and packaging.
Conduit Box Machining
Conduit boxes are machined in automated machines where a dispenser directs them to be threaded and drilled according to the gauge. Then, the pieces go through the vibratory finishing process for final finish and cleaning. Some aluminum pieces are directed to the painting line where they receive electrostatic powder painting. It provides a much greater durability than the conventional liquid one since it adheres better to the metal.
Conduit Box Raw Material and Injection
The raw material for producing aluminum pieces is certified. The productive process starts when aluminum ingot is placed in an induction furnace where it is melted at temperatures above 700 °C (1,292 °F), so that the aluminum can be liquefied. After the foundry process, the aluminum undergoes a degassing process in order to clean any impurities and eliminate gases that go to the surface of the melted aluminum.
Then, the aluminum goes to the injector’s holding furnace to be injected into the mold. Deburring, which is done to improve finish, and the extraction of the piece are both processes automatically performed by a robot that also assesses if the piece complies.
Effluent Treatment Plant
The unit formalizes the practices of rational use of natural resources and the productive chain management. It also constantly invests in clean technologies to reduce generation of solid and liquid residues, as well as atmospheric emissions.
All the water used in the industrial processes comes from deep wells owned by the factory, rainfall accumulation, and public utility mains. After its use, it becomes a liquid residue that is sent to the factory’s own Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in order to be treated before being returned to the environment. The ETP treats on a daily basis an average of 57 m³ of effluents, a practice that contributes to preserving natural reserves of drinking water.
The factory also manages its solid residues by means of controlling waste, reuse in processes, and correct classification, separation and destination in order to maintain the environment quality.
Lighting Laboratory
Here the luminous flux and other lighting characteristics are measured by an optical instrument (integrating sphere). Product life tests are also performed.
Protection and Control Product Laboratory
Several tests are performed at the Protection and Control Product Laboratory:
• Temperature elevation in circuit breakers, RCDs e molded case circuit breakers;
• Test of circuit breaker operation characteristics;
• Dissipated power measured in circuit breakers;
• Working condition characteristics for RCD;
• Common tests for several products: marking indelibility, reliability of screws and connections.
Electrical Laboratory
Product life testing is performed to meet standards, such as energy efficiency, leakage current, pressure and flow rate.
Liz Line:
The Liz line delights by its design with several color options to make the environment more harmonic, functional, and cozy. It has wide modules that are soft to the touch, ensuring greater convenience and perfect finish, without leaving any gaps and grooves when installing. In addition to that, it has an oblong hole that makes mounting and adjusting of the plate to the wall easier, avoiding its misalignment.
Plug, Outlet and Switch Laboratory
This laboratory aims to ensure the quality of plugs, outlets, and switches by conducting routine tests. Its structure enables the reproduction of tests carried out at INMETRO-accredited laboratories, according to the NBR NM 60884-1 (Plugs and Outlets) and NBR NM 60669-1 (Switches) standards.
The laboratory also evidences the effectiveness of design changes, maintaining the safety and reliability of products that evolve according to market needs.
Polymeric Material Laboratory
This laboratory is equipped with:
– Spectrophotometer: performs the registration of color patters, as well as the evaluation of color variations of parts in the process.
– Moisture Content Analyzer: checks moisture content of polymeric materials (pellets). This enables us to check the humidity levels with which the polymers arrive at the company, as well as the working condition of dehumidifiers installed in the manufacturing facilities.
– Densimeter: used to analyze the density of materials. We use it to check material density differences for the same product, to see if there are any variations.
– Accelerated Weathering Test: used to evaluate the capacity of polymers against weathering, such as condensation, rain and UV light. This test is used for comparisons between materials, blends and additives used in the process. It is also used for batch quality evaluation of Anti-UV additives used in our products.
Showerhead
The showerhead has an easy to reach stem for changing the temperature and an exclusive water diverting system, enabling to direct the waterjet just to the main showerhead or to the hand shower. Besides all those advantages, it has an independent nipple with internal connector that makes it easier to install the product on the wall. Solar Plate
Eletrik counts on 400 solar plates with capacity to simultaneously power 65 houses with energy. Since the plates were installed, 500 thousand kWh have been generated. With that, 500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions were avoided, which is equivalent to planting 1,500 trees.
The factory’s lighting system includes LED light fixtures and prismatic plates, with an automatic system for opening windows, giving priority to natural lighting with the window pane.

Circuit Breaker
Developed to ensure safety of the installation, the circuit breaker preserves the electrical grid and your equipment in case of overload or short circuit. It is installed in the distribution board and dimensioned according to the equipment power, number of outlets, and number of lamps. The assembly is individual, without the need to disassemble the busbar, which optimizes installation time.

Outlet Assembly
Aligning precision and swiftness, the outlets are automatically assembled by the machine, which is supplied with the required components for the product. All the pieces are analyzed by sensors on the machine, which then discards the defective pieces, ensuring safety and quality.
Plate Injection
The thermoplastic, a certified raw material, enters the machine dispenser, then, goes through a process to remove its humidity (dehumidification). After that, the thermoplastic goes to the machine injection unit where plasticization takes place. By means of pressure, that plasticized material fills the mold cavities shaping the piece, which is then cooled and removed by a robot that places the piece in the assembly line.
Project Area Aluminum Simulator
For greater control and safety, the injection simulator software assists on aluminum injection tooling development. That is, it assesses the 3D project conditions and shows any potential problems that may occur with the product when it is injected. Thus, the tooling can be corrected before being constructed, ensuring a high-quality product.
